The college successfully held the fourth "Research Market" event

In order to further cultivate students' interest in scientific research and accurately guide the choice of scientific research orientation, the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering successfully held the fourth "Exploration Market" on the morning of May 9th in the Engineering A Hall. The scale of this research fair has significantly expanded compared to previous editions, a total of 24 outstanding scientific research teams from the college and 62 front-line teachers were invited to participate in the exhibition on-site, comprehensively present the research directions and latest achievements of the research group, and provide face-to-face answers to students' questions regarding their academic development, more undergraduate students who are passionate about research have been recruited to join the research team. A total of 160 undergraduate students from the entire college participated in this activity.

At the beginning of the event, Director Liu Xinmei delivered a speech. She represented the college to congratulate on the successful operation of the Research Market, and expressed gratitude to the teachers and students who participated in the preparation and exhibition. She emphasized that the undergraduate years are a crucial period for determining one's life direction. The college holds the research fair precisely to build a communication bridge and assist undergraduate students in clarifying their future academic plans and development directions. She encouraged the students to cherish the opportunity and actively engage in in-depth communication with the participating teachers and students. Subsequently, Vice President Liu Fang announced that the event officially began.

At the market site, each research group presented their work through various means such as display boards, physical demonstrations, and explanations of the outcomes, it vividly presents the unique research features and cutting-edge developments of each. The students moved among various booths, engaging in in-depth face-to-face communication with the teachers of the research groups and the senior graduate students, gain a thorough understanding of the current development status, experimental conditions, and talent cultivation models in different research fields. With the patient guidance and professional advice from the teachers, the students gained a clearer understanding of the cutting-edge aspects of the subjects, they also made more scientific decisions regarding their future academic planning and development directions.

This all-day exploration event was not only a dynamic gathering where ideas collided and thoughts exchanged, but also a comprehensive showcase of knowledge and intellectual exchange, this is also a vivid practice of the university's efforts to deepen the reform of scientific research for education and innovate the talent cultivation model.
