International Journal of Energy Science Officially Launched

Recently, the international journal Energy Science was officially launched and published. Hosted by China University of Petroleum (East China) (UPC) and led by the State Key Laboratory of Deep Oil and Gas, the journal is jointly organized by the School of Geosciences, the School of Petroleum Engineering, the College of New Energy, and the School of Economics and Management. The journal’s international standard serial numbers (ISSN) are ISSN (Print): 2972-3795 and EISSN: 2972-3809.

As an emerging international journal in the field of energy science, Energy Science focuses on four core areas: energy economics, new energy, petroleum engineering, and petroleum geoscience. Committed to advancing scientific innovation, technological development, and engineering applications, Energy Science aspires to establish itself as a globally influential authoritative publication in the energy science field.

The editorial board comprises a distinguished team of leading experts and scholars from the whole world in the energy sector. Academician Hao Fang, President of UPC, and Academician Sun Jinsheng serve as Co-Editors-in-Chief. Professor Liu Keyu, Vice President Dai Caili, and Dr. Susan Nash, Director of the Science and Technology Development Department at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Headquarters, act as Executive Deputy Editors-in-Chief. The Section Editors include Vice President Zhou Peng, Professor Thomas Wick of Universität Hannover, Professor Hossein Hejazi of the University of Calgary, and Academician Kliti Grice of the Australian Academy of Science—a professor at Curtin University and Visiting Professor at UPC. This robust academic leadership team ensures a strong foundation for the journal’s development.
