In order to advance the AACSB accreditation process and promote greater standardization in teaching and research management, the School of Economics and Management (SEM) held a workshop on the morning of July 16 to study and discuss AACSB accreditation standards. The event was attended by Party Secretary Wang Jun, Director of the Accreditation Office Sun Jinfeng, staff members of the Accreditation Office, and coordinators responsible for undergraduate and graduate academic affairs and research. The meeting was chaired by Party Secretary Wang Jun.

Director Sun Jinfeng provided a detailed explanation of AACSB's requirements regarding teaching and research management. Secretary Wang Jun led participants in analyzing their current responsibilities in light of the accreditation standards, identifying existing gaps, and engaging in active discussion on how to better integrate the standards into future teaching and research activities. He emphasized that SEM will continue to deepen the implementation of AACSB principles, develop strategic plans aligned with accreditation goals, and allocate more resources to discipline development, faculty and staff capacity building, and talent cultivation.
This session significantly enhanced participants’ understanding of AACSB standards and will support the School in further aligning its teaching and research with international accreditation requirements. Looking ahead, SEM will continue to organize regular workshops on AACSB standards to ensure that all faculty members are familiar with the framework and contribute meaningfully to improving academic and research quality, thus advancing the School’s international accreditation efforts.
