SEM has a long-standing tradition of excellence in case-based teaching. In recent years, the School has further strengthened efforts in case development, teaching, and research. The Case Research Center, established last year, plays a strategic role in advancing SEM’s high-quality development. SEM continuously integrates case studies into talent cultivation, procures high-quality teaching cases to enhance course delivery, and actively supports faculty in developing original, high-quality, and locally rooted cases focusing on the energy industry, interdisciplinary innovation, and digital intelligence transformation. These initiatives have deepened industry–education integration, promoted research–teaching synergy, and advanced collaborations with enterprises—all of which strongly support SEM’s ongoing international accreditation processes.
Looking ahead, SEM will further refine its institutional framework and strengthen support for case-based research and teaching. By enhancing the role of case work in education, research, social service, and cultural transmission, the School aims to inject new momentum into its strategic goals of solidifying business foundations, reinforcing energy-focused strengths, and empowering digital-intelligent excellence.
It is also noted that SEM will soon implement funding policies for its first round of internally supported case development projects and will launch the second round of case cultivation initiatives in the near future.
