On September 25, a delegation from Sinochem Shared Financial Services (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., including General Manager Zhang Jianfeng, General Manager of the Qingdao Branch Song Chunmiao, Director of the Comprehensive Management Department Cai Zhihong, and Wang Ningning from the General Ledger and Reporting Department, visited the School. The two parties held an in-depth seminar on strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
The meeting was attended by Zhu Hua, Party Secretary of SEM; Jian Ling, Deputy Dean (Acting Dean); Meng Zhaogang, Deputy Party Secretary; Sun Yanfang, Head of the Accounting Master’s Program; and Wang Xinmin, Chair of the Department of Information Management.

Chairing the meeting, Zhu Hua warmly welcomed the visiting guests and emphasized that both sides share strong alignment in strategic planning, development needs, and cooperation pathways, laying a solid foundation and offering broad prospects for partnership. Jian Ling introduced the School’s history, disciplinary structure, faculty strength, academic platforms, and educational philosophy. He highlighted SEM’s strategic vision of advancing the “Energy+,” “Management+,” and “Digital Intelligence+” initiatives to cultivate interdisciplinary and innovative talents with strong foundations in management, distinctive energy expertise, and digital intelligence capabilities.
Song Chunmiao, on behalf of Sinochem Shared Financial Services, introduced the company’s business layout and the achievements of its financial shared services center. Zhang Jianfeng further elaborated on the company’s development plan and the construction of the Qingdao branch, outlining collaboration ideas in talent recruitment, employee training, and research cooperation. He noted that the company is committed to becoming a benchmark for shared financial services among central enterprises and is eager to work closely with universities to develop high-quality talent equipped with industry knowledge, professional finance skills, and digital competence.
During the discussion session, both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on joint talent cultivation, recruitment collaboration, and research cooperation. Professor Sun Yanfang presented SEM’s practical training model for accounting graduate students, proposing to further integrate enterprise participation in joint training, which received positive feedback from the company. The two parties also explored the establishment of an “order-based” talent cultivation mechanism, aiming to design customized courses aligned with corporate business development and industry trends. In addition, discussions were held on research collaboration focusing on business–finance integration and digital transformation, leveraging interdisciplinary strengths to jointly advance applied research.
Moving forward, SEM will continue to promote industry–education integration as a key driver, leveraging multi-party resources, achieving complementary advantages, and building a sustainable ecosystem for collaborative development between academia and industry.
