Recently, the Shandong Provincial Textbook Committee Office announced the third batch of First-Class Textbooks for Higher Education in Shandong Province. The textbook Engineering Project Management, edited by Professor Zhou Peng from the School, was successfully selected, marking another significant achievement in the School’s textbook development efforts.

The School has always regarded textbook development as a key driver for deepening program quality and enhancing talent cultivation. A dual-track mechanism has been established to advance this work collaboratively at both the university and school levels. Building upon the university’s textbook development framework, the School has launched a High-Quality Textbook Development Initiative, providing dedicated funding support, expert guidance, and cooperation with leading publishers to systematically promote the creation of high-quality teaching materials.
To date, the School has established strategic partnerships with prestigious publishing houses such as Science Press and Electronics Industry Press, resulting in the publication of ten high-quality textbooks covering frontier areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and energy digital management. These achievements have shaped a distinctive, industry-integrated textbook development system that aligns education with practice.
This recognition represents high affirmation of the School’s achievements in textbook development. Moving forward, the School will continue to focus on the needs of first-class course and program development, further strengthen textbook cultivation, and strive to produce more forward-looking, rigorous, and innovative teaching materials during the 15th Five-Year Development Period.
