On October 11, Professor Wang Zhongming, Head of AMBA & BGA China and senior professor at Zhejiang University, visited the School to provide expert guidance on the upcoming BGA Gold Reaccreditation process. The meeting was attended by Zhu Hua, Secretary of the School Party Committee, Jian Ling, Deputy Dean (Acting Dean), members of the School’s leadership team, department chairs, program directors, core faculty representatives, and members of the accreditation working group.

On behalf of the School, Jian Ling extended a warm welcome and heartfelt appreciation to Professor Wang. He provided a systematic review of the progress achieved since the School earned its BGA Gold Accreditation in 2022, highlighting accomplishments in disciplinary development, talent cultivation, research innovation, international cooperation, and social engagement in alignment with BGA standards. He also outlined the School’s strategic vision for the next five years, guided by the “Energy+” demand-driven strategy, the “Management+” interdisciplinary integration strategy, and the “Digital Intelligence+” technology empowerment strategy.

Drawing on the Continuous Impact Model (CIM) framework of BGA, Professor Wang conducted an in-depth analysis of the School’s continuous improvement efforts across six dimensions: learning outcomes, academic achievements, alumni success, ecosystem engagement, social impact, and value creation. He highly commended the School’s progress over the past three years, identified areas for further enhancement, and offered targeted recommendations on curriculum design, teaching module integration, and the embedding of global perspectives in program structures.

In closing, Jian Ling reaffirmed the School’s full commitment to the reaccreditation process. He emphasized that the BGA Gold Reaccreditation represents a comprehensive evaluation of the School’s performance under international business education standards. The School will carefully address identified gaps, implement Professor Wang’s valuable guidance, and maintain the highest standards throughout the preparation process. Through this reaccreditation, the School aims to further strengthen its internationalization, cultivate globally competitive management professionals, and contribute more effectively to China’s national energy strategy and regional economic development.
