On October 11, the University held the 2025 Summer Social Practice Summary and Commendation Conference under the theme “Empowering Youth to Realize the Chinese Dream: Striving with Strength and Passion.” The event reviewed the fruitful outcomes of the summer practice activities and honored outstanding teams and individuals. The School received the “Excellent Organization Award,” while the Red Source Practice Team was named a “Model Team.” The Dandelion Zhixing Practice Team, guided by the Zhixing Power Counselor Studio led by Liu Xiao, was recognized as a “Five-Star Team.” The Economic Footprint Practice Team received the “Four-Star Team” title, and the Moneywise Path Team and Yujing Little Elves Team were each awarded “Three-Star Team” honors. Liu Xiao and Tian Mingsheng were recognized as “Excellent Instructors,” and students Wang Yahan, Yan Lifeng, Zheng Yang, and Wu Zhengzhan received the “Outstanding Student” award.

During the 2025 summer program, the School actively responded to the university’s call and organized social practice activities under the same theme, meticulously planned and effectively coordinated. A total of 96 practice teams comprising more than 579 students participated across 30 provinces, municipalities, and regions. The activities focused on continuing the red revolutionary spirit, supporting grassroots governance, promoting financial literacy, and preserving traditional culture. Through these endeavors, students transformed classroom learning into real-world engagement, spreading their youthful energy across the nation and achieving notable educational outcomes and social recognition.
The School adopted a “foundation–implementation–transformation” model to ensure structured, efficient, and impactful practice. In the preparatory phase, universal training sessions and introductory courses were provided to all new students, supplemented by the Youth Action Program—a small-group elite training initiative designed to build a strong foundation of student leaders. During the implementation phase, the School emphasized focus and inclusiveness by selecting exemplary teams to play a leading role while assigning dedicated supervisors to track all practice groups, ensuring safety, order, and quality throughout the process.

The Red Source Practice Team visited 15 red education bases through its “Five-Learning” model, conducting research on the inheritance of red culture in the new era and promoting its values through field lectures and creative vlogs. The Dandelion Zhixing Practice Team worked in rural schools to deliver career planning education and research, contributing to equitable education. The Economic Footprint Practice Team examined grassroots governance and community workforce development, providing insights for local talent cultivation. The Moneywise Path Team conducted financial literacy outreach through its innovative “1+4+N Financial Education Classroom” model, enhancing financial awareness among youth. The Yujing Little Elves Team combined traditional Chinese culture with AIGC technology to design courses themed on “Benevolence, Righteousness, Courtesy, Wisdom, and Integrity,” fostering children’s moral growth and cultural appreciation. Other teams, such as the Heart-Trace Team and Rural Melody Youth Team, focused on youth mental health, cultural heritage, and rural education assistance, demonstrating SEM students’ dedication to social responsibility and community service.
Looking ahead, the School will continue to optimize its experiential learning framework, expand practice platforms, and innovate activity models. By integrating social practice with professional education, research innovation, and national strategies such as rural revitalization, the School will inspire more students to serve the nation and society, empowering them to pursue excellence, embrace responsibility, and realize the vibrant promise of youth.
