On November 4, a delegation from the School of Economics and Management of Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU), led by Dean Professor Irina Elokhova, visited the School. The meeting was attended by Vice Dean Bai Yang, Wang Fangfang, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and faculty representatives from relevant disciplines.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on joint student training, teaching exchanges, and research collaboration. Consensus was reached on short-term student exchange programs, faculty visits, and other cooperation initiatives. Both parties also aligned on the working mechanisms and implementation procedures for future collaboration, expressing the shared hope that the agreed projects can be launched soon and deliver tangible results.
With the deepening of China–Russia economic and trade relations, graduates proficient in Chinese and familiar with China’s economy are increasingly sought after in the Russian job market. Russian universities have shown strong interest in conducting academic exchanges and study programs in China. This visit further strengthened the inter-school cooperation framework and established a more solid foundation for talent cultivation and academic partnership between the two institutions in the field of economics and management. At the same time, the exchange marked an important step for the School in advancing open education, enhancing international cooperation, and expanding its global vision and capacity for internationalized education.
Both sides engaged in substantive discussions on future cooperation initiatives.
