To enhance students’ innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities and improve the quality of student innovation projects, the School of Economics and Management (SEM) held the 2026 university-level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program (DaChuang) proposal defense and review sessions from November 21 to 22. The sessions were organized sequentially by the Department of Information Management, Department of Economics, Department of Management Science, Department of Accounting, and Department of Strategy and Marketing. A panel of 12 faculty members from across these departments served as expert reviewers, and a total of 53 project teams participated in the defense.

During the defense, student teams delivered PPT presentations to comprehensively introduce their project backgrounds, research methods, implementation plans, innovative features, and expected outcomes. After each presentation, the reviewers raised targeted questions and offered constructive feedback—focusing on topic significance, feasibility of the proposed plan, and the adequacy of preliminary preparation—to guide teams in refining and strengthening their proposals.

The proposal defense and review sessions served not only as a quality check and academic guidance process for DaChuang projects, but also as a valuable platform for students to showcase their ideas and learn from one another. SEM remains committed to cultivating students’ innovation and entrepreneurship competencies and will continue to support and encourage student participation in innovation-driven activities, nurturing more high-quality talents with strong creativity and practical skills.
