Abstract
Donald Trump’s second presidency has reinforced an “America First” policy agenda and strengthened policy actions related to “investment in the United States.” Against this backdrop, the global investment landscape has undergone profound changes, and investment risks have also shifted in a structural way—creating both historic challenges and opportunities for China’s overseas investment. This lecture will focus on a systematic analysis and discussion of how the risk structure facing China’s overseas investment is being reshaped under Trump’s second term.
